Hi I’m Wanda a retired Army veteran of 21 years active duty who believes all things are possible if “I Just BELIEVE”. Prior to the military, I spent most of my life living in southern California along the suburbs of Pasadena. Although, I joined the service, my passion has always been in the fashion and design industry. After developing a career in whole other direction (human resource management), I began to imagine it was foolish to do a 180 degree turn into the design industry. I would be letting my training go to waste.
However, I could never let it go. An urging sound keeps on ringing in my spirit. So, I decided to answer the call. I’m now 50 years old, and I figure I should live my life for all that is within me and not by what other people think I should be or become. I’ve experienced many things in my life that are worth sharing. I believe we all have a story that can help others if we just get outside of ourselves. Each day becomes a new beginning with more and more gratitude of discovering me.
So many times I would get on Facebook and practically write stories. Thus, this blog was born. Why can’t I just do it all? Live my life for me, and who cares about what others think? It is natural way for me to develop the inner skills of my mind, body and spirit while helping others. I will share my personal thoughts and emotions that only I can tell. I will cover travel, triumphs, ideas, concepts, solutions, and growth. As an entrepreneur I realized that many people want to know how to do entrepreneurial things. Therefore,I might even share the tools I use so you can grow. Hopefully, it will work for you too! Sometimes, you may not agree with what I have to say, but that’s ok.
My objective is not to convince you one way or the other that I’m right or wrong, but that I’m a human with a spirit who likes to express her thoughts and experiences with others in hopes to provide vision, encouragement, and thoughtful alternatives to readers. So if you’re willing to grow with me, experience adventure, and optimism, I invite you to join me on my journey? Thanks for stopping by! I hope you come back and visit often! Feel free to follow along via Facebook, Twitter, and Google+
